Cascina Bric is the work of a group.

It is a family-owned winery where all choices are shared and the collective success rests upon individual action. This is what makes the difference in the vineyard and in the cellar, in the kitchen and in the hospitality. It is a difference that means attention to detail, work well done, continuous research and experimentation, warm and welcoming hospitality, and the ability to intuit the needs of our guests and their desire for a tranquil environment.
Cascina Bric enhances the extraordinary heritage of winemaking in Monferrato. Each vine is carefully managed and then made into wine that highlights terroir and varietal characteristics.

When I decided to go to work in his vineyards, grandfather Firmino took me aside and said, “the day in which this land becomes yours, you will not fill richer, but more responsible.”

To value a territory means to love, to take care and ensure that it will continue to give fruit through the generations.
Cascina Bric believes in sustainable and “light” agriculture, in which all treatments are reduced to the absolute minimum in order to respect the surrounding environment. Attentive work in the vineyards, using practices and techniques learned through time, are preferred to chemical intervention. Cascina Bric employs all the EEC criteria, including manual pruning and growing wild grasses between the rows. It is an environmentally-friendly production, with low impact, respect for nature, and aimed at preserving the biodiverse ecosystem of the vineyards.

All that work in the vineyard is followed by winemaking that respects the flavours and aromas of the land. Our wines are defined by elegant structure, characteristic aromas, enjoyable to drink, and longetivity. .
Cascina Bric believes in the uniqueness of Monferrato, which is why we only work with native grape varieties and make wine that showcase the nuances of the terroir. Our younger range, which includes Barbera d’Asti, Friesa d’Asti, Piemonte Bonarda, Monferrato Dolcetto, Piemonte Cortese and Monferrato Chiaretto Rosè, is accompanied by a range of more structured and intense wine, aged in wood. This includes our Barbera d’Asti Superiore and our Freisa d’Asti Superiore. The entire range is completed by two sweet wines, Bric, which is made from partially fermented white must and Malvasia di Castelnuovo don Bosco, a local Brut sparkline white wine.
